EAT THIS: Strada

Strada is an Italian chain restaurant in the UK and we had dinner there after a long day of walking in Cardiff. We were beat and hungry so we wanted something filling but in a relaxing atmosphere. Strada was the perfect place for that, even though it was crowded, it wasn't nosy or loud. The service was really excellent, they let me taste a few white wines before I made my decision :)
The price was fair and the food was delicous!
Tired little fella.

Eyþór had linguine tossed with sautéed king prawns, squid, mussels and clams in a tomato, white wine, chili and garlic sause.
I had Risotto with butternut squash, pancetta, ruccola (rocket) and pine nuts in a pumpkin sauce.

Overall, it was a great experience and a recommendable restaurant, very authentic Italian food with ambition. We just discovered a few days ago that there is a Strada here in Bath, just 2 minutes from our house...buut there are so many nice-looking restaurants in town that we usually wanna try something new :)
